Jet Urmeneta

Jet has 20 years of experience working on labor, human rights, and global supply chain social responsibility issues.
Her current responsibilities as Senior Director for Capability Building for the Southeast Asia Region, include developing Social Responsibility programs for various stakeholders (Brands/MNCs/Buyers, Vendors/Licensees, Suppliers/Factories, Contractors/Subcontractors, Workers, Governments, Employers’ Confederations, and Auditors/CSR practitioners) to find solutions, and develop strategies to address recurring social responsibility & compliance issues.
She has significant international experience on issues of Forced Labor and Trafficking, and implementation of ethical recruitment and employment standards. She is one of the lead consultants in the implementation of Employers Pay Model for the recruitment of foreign workers for Suppliers in Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. She has conducted assessments of different migration corridors on forced labor risks and issues, and leads audits for special investigations for factory based foreign contract worker recruitment practices.

Cezar Bagadion
Senior Director for
Strategic Learning & Organizational Development Solutions
Hands-on experience and insight from over 20 years of line management work in the areas of organization development, capability building and talent management characterize what Cezar brings into the Verité Programs he leads and manages.
He joined Verite in 2010 and has done audits, in-person trainings, webinars and program assessments in the fields of Palm Oil, Garments, Fishing and Electronics.
Cezar’s fields of expertise include running Development Dimensions International courses, Covey’s Seven Habits, leadership and coaching, change management, performance management, worker engagement, working in teams, and quality tools and techniques.
Prior to joining Verité, he spent 13 years as the Country Learning and Talent Manager for Unilever (SEA Cluster), a leading multinational company producing personal care, home care goods, and food products.

Coco Bagadion
Managing Director
& Program Advisor
Coco provides consulting, training and support services for SR compliance management and strategy programs, standards development, auditor training and certification, compliance audits and verification assessments, and corporate and factory or field level corrective actions. He has worked with companies in various industries in successfully implementing their SR programs.
Prior to joining Verité, he held a variety of executive, line management, and staff positions spanning 25 years in the corporate sector. His last position was as vice-president responsible for business performance management and strategy development in a leading multinational pharmaceutical company affiliate in his country locale.
He also holds 20 years of factory management experience in a couple of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants wherein he received Corporate management recognition for his factories’ achievements in worker improvement teams, productivity, and compliance management systems.
Coco is an engineer by education and has attended corporate- sponsored specialized management and technical training in the USA, Europe, Japan and the Philippines.

Panyarak Roque
Program Manager
Based in Bangkok for the past 5 years, Panyarak manages audit, research, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and consulting activities in Thailand.
His experience includes leading engagements with actors at various levels of the seafood, apparel, and electronics supply chains, and with government and non-government stakeholders, where he applies a consultative, risk-based approach to managing change and intervention efforts.
His programmatic focus has been on the commercial and regulatory dynamics of ethical recruitment in Thailand and Myanmar.

Kria Jopson
Program Coordinator
As Program Coordinator, Kria assists and coordinates the development of project proposals, tracks and monitors the progress of project work plans, and ensures timely project delivery.
As program coordinator, Kria participates in calls and in-person meetings with clients to map out project progress and provide updates to involved parties. She also assists in preparation of client-ready communications, including emails and reports.

Ria Sarmiento
Program Coordinator
Ria has handled and coordinated over 50 training and learning development sessions with various organizations and companies.
She assists in developing and putting together learning materials and modules, and in making sure that these are tailor-fitted to the needs of the training attendees.
She also facilitates pre- and post-activity processes needed to complete a certification or a training program. She is tech-savvy and is able to harness modern technology to help create a more optimal learning environment for the participants.

Holly Carlos Allan
Senior Consultant
Holly has years of experience in ethical recruitment advocacy and facilitating forced labour remediation, as well as in capacity building, particularly in the area of migrant workers’ rights, and grievance and redress mechanisms.
As a Senior Consultant at Verite, Holly’s responsibilities include leading the development, deployment and management of capacity building programs for Supply Chain HRDD System, coordinating and supporting program implementation, and managing and maintaining client relationships. She is also involved in auditing, human rights risks assessment, and developing consultant toolkits.
Prior to joining Verite, she worked in various capacities with other NGOs in Hong Kong that focused on fair employment, community education and worker empowerment. As head of a migrant domestic worker support group, she regularly conducted volunteer training on access to legal remedy for victims of labour exploitations, collaborated with private enterprises and academics in addressing issues of debt bondage, and provided recommendations on legislative reforms that led to better regulation of recruitment agencies, among others.
